From serving as a counselor in one of our inclusive camping programs to trimming trees and washing windows to helping out in the office, there are tons of opportunities to further our mission through service.
Counselors provide a safe environment for campers to grow in confidence and achievement. Most importantly, they change lives through creating lifelong friendships!
Make Promises Happen
Make Promises Happen counselors are paired in one-to-one partnerships with campers to provide them with any assistance they may require to live a "Life Without Limits" while at Camp. The strength of these relationships is the key to the success of our Make Promises Happen program!
Requirements
- 16 years old or older
- Previous work with individuals with disabilities not required
- Complete volunteer application
- Pass a background check and reference checks
- Attend pre-camp training session
- Have a good attitude, be ready to serve and have a fun time!
Camp Sunrise
Camp Sunrise volunteers work with adults who have sustained traumatic brain injuries. Volunteer for Camp Sunrise and help remind our campers that there is always hope for a new day!
Requirements
- 18 years old or older
- Complete volunteer application
- Pass a background check and reference checks
- Attend pre-camp training session
- Approval/invitation by Camp Sunrise Director
No Limits Neuromuscular Camp
Volunteers with this program come alongside our campers with various neuromuscular conditions to give them a "NO LIMITS" camp experience.

- Attend pre-camp training session
Camp Prism
Camp Prism volunteers work to create an environment and community where our LGBTQIA+ campers feel safe, welcome, accepted, and included.
Camp Prism also offers a Counselor in Training (CIT) program focused on service and leadership development for volunteers ages 18-20.
Requirements
- 21 years old or older (18-20 year old CIT program available)
- Complete volunteer application
- Pass a background check and reference checks
- Attend pre-camp training session
- Approval/invitation by Camp Prism Director
