Make Promises Happen
Make Promises Happen, a Twin Cedars Camp, is dedicated to providing outdoor recreational opportunities for individuals, ages 6 and older, with any physical or intellectual disability.
Through the support of volunteer counselors, campers leave limitations behind and enjoy fishing, boating, arts & crafts, swimming, archery, dances, talent shows and other traditional camp activities during Make Promises Happen camp events.
Volunteers attend pre-camp training and are carefully matched with campers in a one-to-one pairing to ensure that all Make Promises Happen campers receive the appropriate level of personal assistance they may require.

Events are held year round, giving campers multiple opportunities to experience the great outdoors. Campers enjoy a range of activities including archery, axe throwing, arts and crafts, fishing, pedal boating, swimming (summer), zip lining, talent shows, hay rides and so much more. Every activity we provide is either universally accessible or adaptive to meet the needs of EVERY single camper. We strive to provide opportunities for campers to experience living a Life Without Limits.

Adventure Trips
Adventure trips range from skiing with the National Sports Center for the Disabled in Winter Park, CO, surfing with the Gulf Coast Surfriders in Port Aransas, TX, and zip-lining through the rain forest at a self sustaining tree house community in Finca Bellavista, Costa Rica. Trip offerings change annually. Join us for an adventure by requesting participation in an MPH adventure trip on your camp registration form.
